PD: Saukville Teen Shares Marijuana with 14-Year-Old, Facing Charges

The 17-year-old Port Washington High School student told police he smoked the marijuana before school, and then traded his younger friend some of his pot for cigarettes.

A Saukville teenager is accused of bringing marijuana and cigarettes to school after smoking drugs with a friend before going to class. Douglas M. Yanko, 17, was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Monday, administrators at Port Washington High School were tipped off that Yanko and two other students were smoking drugs. The three were rounded up and taken to the office and Port Washington police officers were called to the school.
