Violent Crime in Port Washington, Saukville and Wisconsin

The Federal Bureau of Investigation report on crime in the United States includes data from Port Washington, Saukville and most other communities in the state. See what kinds of violent crimes were reported here and how the village compares to others.

Every year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation uses data reported to it by nearly every law enforcement agency in the country to build a report on crime in the United States. The report includes data on reported crimes from theft to homicide, arrests, trends and how many officers are employed in communities.  Patch has taken the Wisconsin data and put it into a searchable database. Fill in the name of a community to see the number of reported violent crimes in 2011, and click through to learn more about the types of offenses within each community.  In Port Washington and Saukville, rates were comparable to other suburban Milwaukee communities, and relatively low overall. Good info PATCH!!! Thanks for publishing this article with excellent detailed information. Nice to know where my community fits in with the rest of the state. Sorry to say Saukville does have it's bad neighborhoods, just like every other community in the USA. The larger the community grows --- the higher the crime rate grows. Todd Akin Should Quit Senate Race, Wisconsin GOP Insiders Say

Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin remains adamant he will stay in the election despite controversy surrounding comments he made about "legitimate rape," but nearly 80 percent of Patch's Wisconsin Republican insiders say he should quit.

While Wisconsin Republican insiders agree Senate candidate Todd Akin's controversial comments about rape and abortion will have little effect on the presidential race, one thing is clear: They want Akin to drop out now. In Patch's latest "Red Wisconsin" Survey of influential Wisconsin Republicans, 78 percent said Akin should withdraw from the race. On the other hand, only 24 percent agreed or strongly agreed that his statements would hurt Republicans outside of Missouri; and only 22 agreed or strongly agreed that the controversy will have impact on the presidential race.
