Nuitari... there's a guy on Facebook by the name of Benjamin Riche who started an event page about that. I think that's a real fear and quite frankly, I contacted him but he then made some disparaging remark about the Onion being interactive. I tried... but I think you are right. If you have any ideas on who to talk to... I'm listening.   more ›

Been there done that: I take it you are using every ounce of your 99 weeks of unemployment? Any decent employer will not hire someone like you, even at $10-12/ hr. Your best bet is get used to saying,"Would you like fries with that?" Though I doubt you are the type to want to work for a living, what page(s) is your signature on?   more ›

Bill Clinton: Romney's Recovery Plan is 'Dumb Economically'

Former was in Waukesha rallying Democratic support with just five days left before the election. In the waning moments of the campaign, both parties have targeted the Badger State in what could be a photo finish Nov. 6.

Former President Bill Clinton stumped deep in the heart of Republican territory in Wisconsin Thursday to talk dollars, cents, and arithmetic before a crowd of roughly 600 people in Waukesha. Clinton — dubbed the "Secretary of Explaining Things" minutes before by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett — praised President Barack Obama’s plan to rebuild the economy, saying that it was based upon arithmetic. He couldn’t say the same for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s plan to restore the nation’s economy, which Clinton said would undermine the identity of the country. Clinton said there’s a reason Romney has been mum on explaining how his tax cuts add up. “There is no possible way to do this without cutting education, without cutting …

Paul Ryan Taps Packers Mojo, Reaffirms Plan to Tackle Nation's Debt

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan campaigned in Waukesha on Monday and held a town hall meeting that was dominated by the economy. Ryan promised an Aaron Rodgers-eque all-star performance to address the nation's financial problems.

Capitalizing on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' all-star performance Sunday night, Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan told a Waukesha crowd Monday that Americans can expect a similar game-changing performance from him and nominee Mitt Romney, if they are elected in three weeks. Ryan, Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch all tapped into the Packers' 42-24 upset win over the Houston Texans during the morning rally. Ryan did away with the typical stage and podium, and instead opted for a more personal town hall format. Roughly 1,500 people packed the cozy confines of the Van Male Field House. Ryan took six questions from random members of the audience – from a 13-year-old to a union laborer. Walker received a …

$100K Bail Set for Man, 44, Accused of Having Sex With Girl, 15

Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department caught the Waukesha man after assuming identity of the 15-year-old girl.

Judge Tom Wolfgram set bail on Wednesday for the Waukesha man accused of having sex with a 15-year-old Ozaukee County girl at $100,000, despite requests from Attorney Adrian Renner for a more "reasonable bail." Wolfgram cited the seriousness of the allegations against Kevin Conry, 120 Cambridge Ave., Waukesha, and the amount of time he faces in prison as reason for the high cash amount, and also ordered no contact with the victim of any kind. Conry has lived in Wisconsin for the past 20 years and has been employed full-time for the past three, Renner said, in asking for a lower bond. "He doesn’t net a large amount each month — he is in the process of a divorce and his home is in foreclosure, which is why his resources for bail are limited …
