Abandoned Bicycle Finds Way Back to Owner
The owner, a 20-year-old Port Washington resident, forgot she had left the bicycle near the nature preserve entrance where it was found.
Clearly this resident got home some other way after leaving her bicycle behind.
The blue and silver trek bike was taken into storage at 5:50 p.m. July 15 after it was found abandoned near the entrance to the nature preserve at the end of Walters street, according to police reports.
Two days later, a 20-year-old Port woman claimed the bike, according to reports, saying she had forgotten she left the bike there.
