Egg Rolls Instead of a Fish Fry?
Sale at Grand Avenue Church during Port Fish Day benefits Hmong House of Good News in Milwaukee.
While many people will be gobbling down fried fish all day long on Friday, just up the street eating will be going on for a good cause.
That's because the Grand Avenue Methodist Church is hosting an Egg Roll sale on Saturday — the same day as Port Washington Fish Day. The sale will benefit the Hmong House of Good News in Milwaukee.
Lynn Benning, who is participating in the sale as part of the church's mission programs, said the group decided to host the event to support the struggling Hmong population.
The church is located at 505 W. Grand Ave. and anyone interested in Egg Rolls can stop by starting at 11 a.m.
