Hales Trail Community Garden is seeking volunteers to help with installing a fence for the garden on Saturday.

Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., said organizer Derek Strohl. The available shifts are: 9 to 10:30 a.m.; 10:30 a.m to noon; noon to 1:30 p.m.; 1:30 to 3 p.m.; 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Strohl recommends volunteers on Saturday wear sturdy boots and work clothes as well as eye protection (if you have it) and work gloves. It's also asked that you bring a wheelbarrow.
