Student Gallery Still Up and Running

'Thinking About Art' opening reception sees full house.

One group of Port Washington High School art students had a busy Friday night, as the opening reception for the “Thinking About Art” gallery hosted a well-filled house in the Port Harbor Center, 222 E. Main St. Port Washington.

Jane Suddendorf, an art teacher at Port Washington High School who runs the AP Studio Art class that produced the gallery, said she was very pleased with the turnout at the opening.

Each of the students were there to explain their art work to passersby, who could also leave their name in a guest book near the front entrance.
