I’m writing to express the gratitude of the clients and volunteer staff from the Saukville Community Food Pantry to both Jim & Mike Schmit from Schmit Bros auto dealerships and Quick Lane Service Center for their unmatched support for our program.  During the month of February they contributed 5 percent from all service work performed at their dealerships and the Quick Lane Service center to the Saukville Community Food Pantry.

Through their generosity we will be able to purchase a large commercial cooler to replace several household refrigerators that simply are not large enough for our needs and one is near its last days.  The donation will also help us to continue to keep our shelves well stocked for the next few months during a time of year when contributions and food drives are low and our supplies would normally dwindle.

While we don’t have the final figures in at this time, we do know that through their efforts and generosity they have raised over $5,000 for the Saukville Community Food Pantry and we are extremely grateful to have a wonderful partner and benefactor to work with here in Saukville.
