Pound Cake Top Choice at Feasting for Felix
The Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus held its 2nd annual Feasting for Felix fundraiser on Thursday. Zaffiro's Pizzeria Bar, The Centennial Bar & Grille and Atlas BBQ were the winning restaurants.
The 2nd Annual Feasting for Felix hosted by the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus came to a sweet ending on Thursday night.
The food tasting event is a fundraiser for the shelter that features food and drink samples from Ozaukee County restaurants. Votes from celebrity judges elected Zaffiro's Pizzeria Bar as having the best sample; the restaurant served its Golden Standard pound cake.
The Centennial Bar & Grille took first place for its food presentation. A new people's choice award landed Atlas BBQ first place; the restaurant served macaroni and cheese.
The list of participating restaurants included: Café 1505, The Centennial, Firehouse, Amy’s Candy Kitchen, Ferrante’s, Tello’s, Highland House, Riverview Inn Pizza, Fire Ridge Golf Club, The Chancery, Zaffiro’s, The Anvil, Remington’s River Inn, Harvey’s Central Grille, Cedarburg Coffee Roastery, and First Watch Mequon.
Beverages are being donated by the Chiselled Grape Winery, Pabst Brewery and Lakefront Brewery; sponsors include Sommer’s Subaru, Port Washington State Bank, Charter Steel, Milwaukee Radio Alliance, LLC, Saukville Veterinary Clinic, G.A.L.S. Inc., and the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center.
