Milwaukee Curling Club Moving to Ozaukee County

The Ozaukee County Board approved a lease for the club to use a Cedarburg building, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Milwaukee Curling Club entered a 50-year lease approved by the Ozaukee County Board for use of a building to be constructed in the next year at the county Fairgrounds in Cedarburg.

Before the board would make a decision on the lease for the 28,000-square-foot building, the club had to raise $1 million in cash as a down payment. In all, the club will be responsible for half the estimated $3.8 million cost, or $1.9 million.
