Officer Eric Schmeling was on scene, blocking cars from entering the northbound lane that runs along the bluff of the park. Drivers can still pass through the park in the southbound lane, and the playground remains open.

Schmeling said officers called off a request for an ambulance after they arrived at the scene, and instead called the Ozaukee County coroner to work with officials to figure out what happened.
