PD: Drunken, Disorderly Conduct Among Long List of Fish Day Incidents

A roundup of the police activity during the 2012 Port Washington Fish Day festival includes individuals sent to the hospital after drinking too much, people parking in the wrong places — including the bike path — theft, and more.

By early morning on "Fishmas Eve" chairs and blankets spotted the downtown Port Washington area, saving seats for the annual Port Washington Fish Day parade.

The preparation begs the question, "How early, is too early?" The answer might just lie in the Port Washington police reports.

At 9:51 a.m. July 17 (four days before the festival) a blanket and three chairs were brought to the police department that had been set out in an attempt to reserve a spot.
