Port Police Report: Naked Man Waits for Hotel Employees

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter.

What seemed to start as a typical room service call by a 51-year-old Milwaukee man staying at the Holiday Inn on Tuesday now raises questions about what the man actually thought "room service" all entailed.

Port police responded to the hotel, 135 E. Grand Ave., at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday after the manager called regarding a man who had requested assistance in his room, waiting naked for employees to arrive.

The man had also been following around other hotel patrons that day, spurring complaints from those people.

The suspect waited for police outside, again dressed and smoking. The hotel management did not want the man removed, nor to have any other action taken.
