Port Police Report: Possible Genitalia Sighting Gets Group Kicked Out of Bar

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter.

A typical case of he-said, she-said surrounding his genitals got a group kicked out of the bar area at ο»ΏCountry Inn & Suitesο»Ώ.

Police responded to an incident at 12:27 a.m. Oct. 16 where a 33-year-old Grayslake, IL, woman claimed a 27-year-old West Bend man had exposed his genitals to her.

The man denied taking it out, but all parties involved were asked to leave anyway.

  • Runaway baby: Look out for this one, he might grow up to be a streaker. A two-year-old child was spotted wandering outside at 4:31 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 1500 block of Portview Drive. Police reunited the child with his mother, where they learned the baby had escaped through a sliding glass door. Time for pad locks.

A 16-year-old Port Washington girl at 3:13 p.m. Oct. 18 told police she was indirectly being harassed through postings on the social media site by her ex-boyfriend, a 19-year-old Saukville man. Rumors were also spreading through school because of these posts. The man was spoken to regarding his posts.
  • F-rated company strikes Port resident: There are countless ways to get scammed these days, and here's just another one of them. A 58-year-old Port Washington woman reported being scammed by a magazine company called MTS Circulation. The company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau, and has had 72 complaints against it since the beginning of this year. The woman stopped payments from being processed from her checks to discontinue the scam.
  • Thought this only happened in the movies: Teenage parties, that is β€” but apparently area teenagers are cunning enough to make them happen. A 42-year-old Port Washington man called police at 4:25 p.m. Thursday after teens were allowed to trespass on his property. A 13-year-old Port girl had been watching his dog, and allowed her 14-year-old brother into the house in the 400 block of South Spring Street to host a party. Who knew?
  • Can you blame him? Afterall, he doesn't have a toilet to call his own. Police cited a 29-year-old homeless man at 6:27 p.m. Thursday for disorderly conducting after he was seen urinating in public in the 1100 block of South Spring Street.
