Port Washington Police Report: No Suspects Yet for Window Damage

A roundup of activity from the latest police blotter.

Port Washington police responded to a call at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 1600 block of Granite Lane.

The 60-year-old Port woman and 68-year-old Port man reported hearing a loud bang and then noticiting a BB-sized hole in the window.

Police still have no suspects.

  • Empty pockets: Police took a report of a missing leather billfold on Tuesday, which closes using Velcro. The item was likely lost in the area of Pier Street or near the marina. Police ask anyone who finds the item to turn it in.
  • A play phone? Not so much! Police responded to an open-line 9-1-1 call in the 1000 block of North Wisconsin Street at 9:13 a.m. Wednesday. The 4-year-old son of the 27-year-old Port Washington woman had been playing with an old cellphone of hers, and accidentally dialed 9-1-1.
