Teen Claims 'Mysterious Man' Threatened Family, Police Say
A Saukville teen caught stealing liquor from Walmart told police he did so because he was threatened by a "mysterious man" at a nearby park.
Saukville officers responded to the store at 5:05 p.m. July 31 after staff called to report they had the teen in custody, according to police reports. The 17-year-old had attempted to steal a bottle of Jose Cuervo and Ciroc vodka.
In speaking with police, the teen admitted to stealing the alcohol along with an 18-year-old friend who ran off before he was caught, according to police reports. The 17 year-old also told police that they were forced to steal the alcohol by a mysterious man at Grady Park who said if they didn’t steal it, he would hurt their families.

Police were able to make contact with the 18-year-old man who was also cited for underage alcohol and arrested for retail theft, according to police reports. Charges on both men for retail theft are being requested through the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
