Saukville Village Board operates as an "at-large" election, meaning the top three vote-getting candidates will take the open spots.

Kamenick had decided to run for the board after controversial decisions by the village preventing Kwik Trip from opening its business on the land it owns just north of Highway 33 near Interstate 43 in Saukville. These moves caused Kamenick to worry about the business environment in Saukville.
