Update: Port, Saukville Remain Accident Free Within City Limits, Despite Snow

Fast falling snow has been keeping road crews very busy, though accidents have been limited to Highway 43.

Road crews have been actively clearing the streets in both Saukville and Port Washington all day, and the Ozaukee County Dispatch reports no accidents within the city limits.

"Saukville’s DPW crews have been plowing and salting village streets since early morning," said Roy Wilhelm, director of public works/engineer for Saukville, in an e-mail.

Wilhelm said Saukville crews are also busy taking care of municipal parking lots and sidewalks, and plows will return to the streets as needed into early Tuesday morning hours.
