Lincoln Elementary Invites You to Flea Market Sale

Proceeds from fundraiser will help buy SMART boards for all the classrooms; organizer hopes Spring Fling Craft Fair & Flea Market will become annual event.

Lincoln Elementary School students and staff are hosting the school's first flea market fundraiser to benefit its parent group on Saturday.

The Spring Fling Craft Fair & Flea Market will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria.

"We didn’t have enough spaces to fill the gym this year — we hope next year it will be different," said Lisa Dider, a coordinator for the event. "We’re really hoping it takes hold."

Dider said the parent group is really focused on getting SMART boards into all the classrooms, and she's hoping the proceeds of this event will get them there — something that would not have been possibly without all the effort that went into the creation of this event.

"We couldn't be more appreciative to the parents and the families," she said.
